Rainway does have the remote option I discovered but I cannot get sound to come through. I uninstalled it again though because I didn't really need it and it was just to try it out LTT did a Video about it when it just released and I tried it out too and it's worked pretty well. It has support for controller and keyboard. It also has support for en-and decoding the stream on hardware basis and can do 120Hz if I can recall it correctly. You set it up on your host machine and link your games by adding them to the library and if you start a game on the accessing PC, it's going to automatically launch the game on your host machine for you and stream it to you. I'm only using the free personal edition.

Maybe there is something better than teamviewer for this? Tv is pretty good. Has anyone successfully done this or is it a pipedream? I know there are payable services for this but wondered if I could do it another way using the kit I have already invested in Currently 50meg down and 10 meg upload so should be a big improvementĪt xmas it would be pretty cool if I could play games away from my main base.

I am getting my line upgraded tomorrow so will be 500meg download and approx 37 meg upload. Obviously rubbish FPS and no sound but wondered in theory if a better upload speed could make a game almost playable, or actually playable! I did accidentally launch a game the other week and it was nowhere near as bad as I expected it to look. I use teamviewer to remote on to them which is decent for most things. One remote location has 50 meg fibre connection and the other 25 meg satellite (possibly not sufficient) I have 2 gaming PCs in different properties and wondered if it would be possible to play games remotely from other places, such as a friends/parents houses where there are only laptops/fairly dated desktops.
